STEVE RAMON WINS ROUND 5 OF THE GERMAN CHAMP!
Steve Ramon has won the fifth round of the ADAC MX Masters, the German Championship.
The sand of Tensfeld was seen as ideal preparation for the AXO rider with the Grand Prix of Limburg at Lommel in Belgium occurring next weekend in similar terrain.
Ramon took overall honours with 2nd and 1st positions in the two motos on his RM-Z450WS, beating names like Desalle, Nagl and Roczen! Here what he had to say after a hard physical day of racing:
"Everything went OK and my riding was good. The sand was heavy so it was hard work out there. I had two good starts and led the first moto but got into trouble near the end with the lapped riders and Clement was able to find a way through. The second race was similar but after Clement had crashed I had to deal with Nagl and then Ken Roczen was running a very good pace so I couldn't slow down. All in all it was a good days racing and good to do a race like this before Lommel."
